Why this role exists

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager with a strong network in technology, robotics, and automation. This isn’t a generic sales role — it’s about building long-term partnerships, spotting opportunities where design can make a real impact, and positioning Hello Robo as the go-to agency for ambitious companies shaping the future.

What you’ll work on

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal Management – Own the end-to-end process from prospecting to closing, ensuring deals move smoothly through the pipeline.
  • Network Leverage – Tap into your relationships across tech, robotics, and automation to generate new opportunities and introductions.
  • Conferences & Events – Represent Hello Robo at key industry conferences, trade shows, and private events, building visibility and credibility.
  • Partnership Growth – Identify and nurture partnerships that can drive referrals, cross-promotions, and new revenue streams.
  • Market Awareness – Stay on top of industry trends, funding news, and company moves to proactively spot opportunities for Hello Robo.
  • Own and deliver against clear, measurable revenue targets. This is a numbers-driven role: you’ll be responsible for hitting quota every quarter.! Strong organizational skills for managing deals and maintaining pipeline momentum.

What you bring

  • Deep network and credibility within tech, robotics, or automation.
  • Proven track record of winning business for an agency or consultancy.
  • Comfortable navigating high-level conversations with CEOs, founders, and VPs.
  • A self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments.
